Bath & Dry
For shorter or well-maintained coats or even just a dirty dog a bath and dry will leave your canine companion clean comfortable and smelling fresh.
Bath, Dry & Tidy
Great between full grooms the coat is bathed, detangled and feet, face and hygiene areas are trimmed.
Full Groom
This includes a bath, dry and detangle followed by clipping and scissoring to the desired style. Nail, ear care and sanitary area trim is included in the full groom.
De-Shedding
From shorter coats that moult to the longer double coats a thorough de-shed removes dead coat, leaving the dog cooler more comfortable and leaving far less hair around the house.
Puppy Introductions
Your puppy’s first visit includes a gentle bath and dry nail trim, all done at their pace. It introduces them to the sights smells and sounds of the professional grooming environment.

The Lap of Luxury is owned and run by Neville Lawrence. In addition to Neville, the salon has two other self-employed groomers alongside him in the studio. This offers more appointment availability to new customers and a more reliable service.

I’m Neville, I own The Lap of Luxury. I’ve been grooming in the Stockport area for over 10 years now.
Over this time, I have built up a valued and very loyal customer base and consider myself lucky to have such a large number of return customers. Some dogs on my books came to me for their first puppy grooms and I am still grooming them into their later years.
Having so many returning customers and limited spaces in my diary it is not always possible to book in with myself without a considerable wait.

My name is Joanne and my business is Posh Paws. I’ve been a professional dog groomer for almost eight years. I’m based at The Lap of Luxury where I rent a table.
It brings me great pleasure to help your dog look and feel their best. Over the years, I have developed strong relationships with both new and returning clients, treating their dogs as if they were my own.
I work on a one-to-one basis to ensure your dog receives the care and attention they deserve.

Hey, I’m Claire, I’ve been a big dog lover since I can remember. I grew up with German Shepherds as a child and my love for dogs went from there.
When I got the opportunity to become a dog groomer I jumped at the chance. Who wouldn’t want to work with dogs,?! I have a Level 3 diploma in dog grooming.
I’m a mother of 4 boys and we have a big goofy Rottweiler named Frankie and a tortoise called Tommy.
